Due to limited staff and the desire to maximize safety and interactions between staff and students, Tiger Club will have limited space available. Our afternoon Tiger Club program will be capped at 50 students. This number is subject to change and we will limit time slots based on staffing availability.
Priority will be given to families who need Tiger Club for student supervision due to work schedules, transportation issues, or lack of adult supervision at home. Each family’s Tiger Club application will be evaluated with this criteria and on a case by case basis. Filling out the Tiger Club form does not guarantee enrollment in Tiger Club. Each application will be approved and prioritized by need.
During Tiger Club, students will remain in their cohorts as much as possible. Safety procedures outlined in this document (such as social distancing, mask wearing, sharing of items, etc.) will also be followed in Tiger Club.

About Tiger Club
Tiger Club is Trinity First's afterschool educational support program exclusively for the students of Trinity First School that begin in 2005. On any given day, nearly half of our students participate in this program.
Tiger Club provides a safe place for our students until their families can pick them up. Homework help, snacks, and playtime are all part of the daily activities. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, many students are able to get their homework finished before it's time to go home!
Our school day ends at 3:20pm. Tiger Club students are signed into the program by their classroom teacher at the end of each school day. Tiger Club is a membership type program. In other words, parents register their children for each trimester regardless of the number of days they attend. The trimester fee is based on the ending time of either 5:00pm or 5:30pm.
Trimester fees are due 1 week prior to the start of the trimester at the following rates:
- Bus $35 (This rate is only for Minneapolis families who have been approved to ride the Minneapolis Public School Bus. Not for K3, K4, or K5 students)
- 5:00 P.M. $110
- 5:30 P.M. $135
Full program details are provided by the director of the program, Anna VanVleet, and can be found in our school handbook.
