One of the best ways to promote healthy living is to encourage our children to be active! Trinity First School offers athletic teams based on our resources at the time, the number of students enrolled, and the willingness of parents/guardians to assist.
Students must meet certain grades and conduct expectations to participate on our sports teams. This means their teachers must grant approval based on how the student is doing in the classroom. Continued participation also depends on students maintaining their required grades, as well as playing and competing with a Christian attitude.
The main objectives of our athletic programs are for students to:
- Recognize the human body as a gift from God.
- Cultivate such traits of Christian character as courage, loyalty, cooperation, self-discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Maintain mental, emotional, and physical fitness.
Trinity First School is a member of the Twin Cities Lutheran Athletic Conference. An athletic fee is charged for each sport. Parents are asked to provide participation for their players to and from sporting events.
