Equipping Learners, Sharing Hope
Michael Traynor

This is my second year at Trinity First. I started my journey last year as an Assistant Treehouse teacher. This year I am the 5th and 6th grade resource teacher and also the school’s educational technology person. I look forward to continuing my journey and helping the Trinity First community in any way that I can.
My path to Trinity First was an interesting one. I graduated from Hamline University back in 2009 with a degree in Social Studies and Education. From there I was a substitute teacher for 7 years in multiple districts across the Southeast Metro area. I spent a few years doing home measurements and some construction work also. It was through a friend that I came to know and learn about Trinity First; and the inspiring message of Trinity First that I considered returning to teaching. I continue to be inspired each day by my colleagues and by the students. There is no place I would rather be!
It is through the Lord’s grace and His guidance that I am at Trinity First, and it is also through His welcoming embrace and word that I have so easily come to call this place my second home. I walk in each day with a smile, and even through the challenges I still find myself leaving at the end of the day with one too!
