Katie Griffin

It is such a privilege to be a part of raising this next generation at Trinity First Lutheran School. First and foremost, it is my desire that our students know they are loved and cared for by us, and even more importantly, by the Lord. Secondly, it is my goal that our students become people who use their gifts to serve the world around them. 

I graduated from Concordia University, Wisconsin in 2000.  Since then, my teaching experience has varied from being a classroom teacher (1st, 4th, 5th grades), working as an Intervention Reading Specialist (K-5th), and homeschooling my own children (1st- 8th grades). Through my teaching, I strive to help students love learning. 

I have lived in the Twin Cities area for over 19 years with my husband, Ben.  We have three amazing children together, two boys who are in college at Texas A&M and a daughter who is a senior at Concordia Academy.  I spend as much time as I can with them! I also love to get outside and enjoy hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and anything that allows me to be in God's creation!
