Our Mission & Values
Our Mission Statement
Equipping Learners, Sharing Hope
Our Vision Statement
Trinity First School will impact our community by being known as a high-quality educational center for children, their families, and our community. We will strive to support and encourage leaners to become productive citizens of our country here on earth, and ultimately fellow citizens of Heaven!
Our students and their families will experience this school as a growing family that learns together, supports one another, serves together, and shares the love of Jesus with one another.
These are the values that guide and direct us as a school. By and through God’s grace, we commit ourselves to express them through everything we do and say.
Prayer – We believe prayer is a privilege of faith! Our God welcomes our praise and petitions and allows us a way to deepen our relationship with Him. We surround each day in prayer.
Relationships – We believe that every person who joins our school through enrollment, family, employment, or service is a part of our Trinity First family. Our family reflects and shares in the wider family of believers and in the Body of Christ. Each is valued as a true child of the King!
Inclusive Education – We believe that every child is uniquely gifted by our Heavenly Father. We provide a structured education setting that nurtures a broad range of learners God leads to our door.
Family Involvement – We believe family involvement is an integral component of improving educational performance. We encourage our parents/guardians to partner with us by having an active role in our school.
Servanthood - We serve God by serving others. We serve our community through offering special events and programs as well as teach our students the value of serving others through volunteerism. We also recognize and deeply value the service of others who share their gifts with our school.
Integrity - The dictionary describes integrity as an adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. We believe integrity also applies to our expectations of working hard and responsibility.
Excellence – Giving our best! We strive to be a responsive school that values high-quality education and meets the needs of each student. We understand that as we seek a path of continued improvement in ourselves.
Our Core Beliefs
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing: it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2: 8-10 (ESV)
The Bible teaches that God has saved us by
GRACE, through FAITH, for WORKS of SERVICE.
By Grace Alone – We believe God became man in Jesus the Christ. He lived perfectly as a 'self-less servant,' taking our imperfect thoughts, words and actions to an innocent death on the cross in a demonstration of costly love.
Through Faith Alone – We believe that faith is God’s gift that trusts Jesus as Savior from sin and Lord of life. Faith believes that, in Christ, we have 'every spiritual blessing' through the 'forgiveness of sins.'
For Works of Service – Because we are saved by Grace, through Faith, God has also created us for a life of service. Through daily reading and reflecting on His Word, we are led to do the ordinary things of life in extra-ordinary ways.
Trinity First School abides by these beliefs:
Bible: The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are directly inspired by God. It is the only infallible, free from all error, authoritative Word of God. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Corinthians 2:10-13)
Trinity: We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that through Jesus’ perfect life on earth and innocent death and resurrection, we now have been made God’s children and have received our salvation! (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30, Luke 5:32, Isaiah 53:5, John 3:16)
- Creation: We believe the Genesis account of a six-day creation; we believe humans were created male and female (Genesis 5:2). Humanity was created in God’s image and after His own likeness, and not by evolution. (Genesis 1). We believe that God's perfect creation has been corrupted and broken by humanity's fall into sin (Genesis 3).
- Salvation: We believe that salvation is by the grace of God, not by any works or good deeds of men. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Body of Christ: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Greater Body of Christ. (Romans 8:10-11, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Galatians 3:26-28)
