Mrs. Chrissy Tredray

Dear Fifth and Sixth Grade Parents,

My name is Chrissy Tredray. I have been teaching at Trinity First since August of 2004. Previously, I taught the first and second grades for three years at a Lutheran school near Chicago, Illinois. My husband and I now live in the Minneapolis area.

I am so excited to teach in such a specialized middle school classroom.  In the morning I teach Religion, Math, Science, Handwriting, and Spelling. 

In the afternoon I teach Math and Science to the 7th and 8th grade students.  I feel this specialization helps me focus on subjects that I am passionate about and can focus instruction over the years.  I get to see which specific topics children must master for the upcoming year.

I believe that it is important for families and teachers to work together for the good of the child. Frequent and open communication is vital during the school year. Please stop by the classroom at any time; it is always open to you.

I believe each child is a special gift of God. I believe each child has an amazing ability to learn. My job is not only to teach children academics, but to guide them through their own decisions. I strive to see my students as their Creator and Savior see them. I also work to guide them the way He guides me.
